Manic Monday

Remember last Monday when I attempted to go to the grocery store with crazy Ella and purchase balloons for Kyle's birthday...well I decide I had not put myself through enough and headed towards to Sunshine Grocery store after picking up Ella last night.
To start off Miss Ella wanted to wear her shoes on the wrong feet, sure why not, less debate this way, why not draw more attention to myself. Once we arrived at the store Ella spotted the mini grocery carts and wanted to use this one over sitting at bird's eye view in the cart. Why not! We successfully made it to the milk section and I helped Ella get a one gallon in the cart, proceeded to the produce department with a few folks looking at me as I walked in front of Ella as if I were directing traffic. Here is where the challenge started. We had to pass the cereal section and Miss Ella wanted every kind and type, we finally came to the equal choice of honey bear graham crackers (that we took to daycare, today). Once in the produce section we picked up bananas and lettuce then headed to get Dad some Dr. Pepper. I carried to pop and Ella steered us to the check out section.
Checking out went fine, with Ella helping me swipe the card to pay. It is amazing how much they pick up on!!!
Here it comes, the really big challenge. I have to back up for a second, I am wearing my favorite new shoes, my BCBG Girl high heels, love them, but not the best to carry a 30 pound two-year-old, two bags of groceries, a gallon on milk and a 12 pack of pop. It was a terrible sight. Ella is pulling on my shirt for support and my hips are trying to balance the pop and my pinkie finger is the anchor for the two plastic bags. And to top it off, I park in the back-forty. I got my workout. Ella is telling me she hurts, probably because I have a death grip o her and realize it hurts but I refuse to let her go in fear of a car and her dancing together.
We did make it to the car and no damages. Could you imagine if I dropped the milk, now that would of been something to blog about!!!
The icing on the cake...a nice clean house to come home to. Worth the money to have it clean for a moment before Kyle and Ella start dropping clothes, papers, toys, treats and cereal everywhere.
(Found this photo, she looks much more professional and stressed than me, well at least more professional!)

With two you make Allan watch them and you go and slowly walk every row at the stores to unwind!!!!
