Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the great ladies I know that go by Mom.

I have been inspired by many moms, starting with my mom followed by watching some of my best friends transition to mom over the course of the years. I have some present and past co-workers that I admire as working moms and look up to them. It is a title that is a gift from God to receive the love a child and to have them call you mom, seek you out for love, comfort and strength.
Today, has started out slow. I made pancakes with Ella, she stirred the batter. We actually didn't make that big of a mess. I was impressed.

And I got my mother's day gifts. A gift card to iTunes for the shuffle for working out. My music tastes are all over the place. And from Kyle.... a flat screen TV for our bedroom, it is the perfect size and now we don't have to argue over who gets to watch what and since I fall asleep most times by 9:30 at night in front of the TV on the couch, I can now fall asleep in bed!

And I am proud to admit, as the first born, I called Mom first, so Katina and Alex you loss! Ha! Just kidding!

Anyway, to a wonderful day of celebrating motherhood, congrats to you all. Many blessings.
