Being gone from work a day and half always makes it a bit of a challenge coming back! The work doesn't stop just because you are gone. Hey, I should not complain, having work is a good thing.
I am a bit concerned about going home to the tornado of a mess that is there. Kyle and I have a tendency to leave things a mess right before and after we leave for trips. There are bags everywhere, Ella's dirty clothes from the last two days strung from the dining room to the living room, heels by the staircase, coats thrown over dining room chairs, cups lefts out with remaining juice or milk or pop making nice stains, or rings around the edges. There are leftovers from this past week to either be eaten by tonight or thrown away and endless laundry.
I have a confession to make, I have a cleaning lady. I had one in Mississippi, Miss Lottie and loved that woman, only wished I could have taken her with me. She worked hard on making our home clean and nice. We have a equally hard working lady, Shelly, that now works for us. She comes once every two weeks and does a great job. She is worth the money. Though Shelly comes on a Monday, at first I did not like it, I wanted my house clean on the weekend when I live in it the most, but have found having it cleaned on a Monday allows it to stay cleaner longer during the week, for the three of us to dirty it up by the weekend. I almost never cook on the Monday and Tuesday following Sherry coming, I like the kitchen to stay clean and refuse to dirty it up that quick.
Shelly comes Monday and I will work on getting everything picked up for her over the weekend so she can do her job that much better!
Well, two posts in one day should help balance me out for the week.

I want a cleaning lady!
Ask Miss Sue across the street if Miss Lottie would do it. She charged $50 and did a amazing job! And with #2 on the way it would help loads!!! I will call Allen and tell him it is the gift that keeps on giving and Kyle likes it because he is totally off the hook for helping me clean, just picks up on Sunday night. He says if we pay someone then there is no need to clean ourselves. But someday I might have to give it up, but right now I am enjoying the help!
