I received a email from one of my close friends this morning (she wrote it last night with her kiddos safe and asleep in bed) and was catching up on life. She brought tears to my eyes! It was too sweet, her precious little girl Taylor wanted to play with Ella. Brook has a super cool iPhone (wish I could get one) and had taken a pic of Miss Ella this Christmas and Miss Taylor came across it last night and told her mom to go get her so she could play with her. It melted my heart. And made me cry at the office!
I miss the Parker family, we were great friend while living in Guthrie, we actually met at Sunday school, all are OSU grads and instantly bonded. The boys liked to play golf and watch sports and Brook and I hit the malls and movies. Lots of get dinners, late night games and load of laughs. I can still remember Ryan calling us to tell us Brook was at the Stillwater hospital going into labor and it was like five in the morning! And our Bowl trip to Texas and everything in between.
They now live in Ardmore, right on the way to my parents house, so we always stop in to see them and sometimes spend the night or two!!! They rock and were are so blessed to have them as close friends, even though the miles are far, our friendship is still precious and very close to us.
