Another OSU Fan in Sioux Falls

The other day I was in Sioux Falls headed to my favorite fast food spot for a fun drink- SONIC!!! And you will not believe what I saw- a bright orange car with a OSU logo!! And even better, they were following me to Sonic- good Oklahomans I decided. They didn't park next to me, but my hope is they took notice of my OSU signage on my Pilot.
It was a exciting moment for me.

We have our OSU yard sign proudly on display and I was lucky enough to get two flags this year, so if the South Dakota wind tries to take one, I have a backup this year.

GO POKES!

I like to move it!

Ella is a big fan of M2 and the song "I like to Move it, Move it" She is always singing it. I thought it would be fun to buy the song and jam to it. She was smart enough to find my iTouch and found the song, put the headphones on and started jamming.
It was too cute- not the best work out music for me, but gives me a good laugh.

On another note- we had a night of being up and down, one junior was all over the place with his movements, kept me up a lot and when I wasn't trying to find a more comfy spot, Miss Ella was calling for us. She was restless- needed water at midnight, lost her sippy at 2 AM and needed socks at 4 AM. Kyle and I went back and forth and finally at 7 AM gave up and let her get up. Hopefully today we take a nice long nap, mom too!!!

Is it a fork or a

I cannot believe it has taken me this many days to post this great conversation with Ella. We were sitting in the kitchen having supper Sunday evening and I had a fork in my hand, Ella was in my lap looking at the utensils and said the funniest thing.
"Look Mommy, it's a dingle-hopper!"
At first I was not sure what she was saying, a two year old can sometimes have their own language. Ella can get to talking fast and I really have to listen carefully. She repeated the first saying and then the light went off. Little Mermaid and the seagull and the fork, a dingle-hopper and Scuttles liked to refer to it as.
And you know what, once I told Ella I understood, she took my fork and proceeded to use it as a comb in my hair. I put a stop to that fast, but it sure was funny.
Hope you got a laugh out of this cute story. And thank you to Katie L. for giving us The Little Mermaid, as you can see from this post, we have watched it a couple of times since this summer.
