Cheerios!

So the past two morning on our way to daycare, Ella has demanded that I send the blessed song her Aunt Kena taught her several months ago. These two year-olds have the most amazing memories. The song is Cheerios goes something like this:


Cheerios! Cheerios!
You push them to the bottom of the bowl, then they rise to the top
Cheerios! Cheerios!

And of course there are hand gestures that follow the song, and won't you know it, Ella is wanting me to make the O gesture with both hands while driving, the pushing of the Cheerios and then flashing hands to the sky for them rising to the top!! It is hard work but to keep her happy before I leave her for the day, it is worth it. I need stronger and longer legs to drive though, luckily, we have a straight shot to daycare.

In the end, Ella is a happy camper tell me is such a simple and cute way "Bye, Mom" as I leave her for the day.

I am glad it is Friday and I have the whole weekend to play with her.
