Cookie please

I did it, I was summoned and weakened by a two year old this morning.

I made cookies for Kyle the other day, I have successful only had one whole cookie, trying to stay focused on good things to eat and not sweets, but Kyle likes them and they are from scratch, and it was his birthday.

Anyway, Ella loves them. Had one once we got home last night, then we went outside to play with the neighbors, who then came over to the house to play. The neighbor girls went home and Kyle grilled hamburgers. Then Ella has her second round of playing outside with her Dad this time. I proceeded to clean the kitchen and think about my outfit choices for my upcoming trip ( will talk about in another post).

Once we were all inside we watched "Biggest Loser" and then put Ella to bed, she wanted a cookie before bed and we both said no. ( I should of remembered this from last night).

Rose before the chickens this morning and worked out, took a warm shower and was looking through the closet for a outfit for today when two little socked feet appeared. Ella was up super early(makes me feel bad if she gets grumpy later at daycare) and wanted milk and cartoons. No problem.

Later was the issue, or hiccup in my parenting skills, she asked for a cookie, and you know what? I gave her one! Insert Kyle, reveal not HAPPY with me. I must have rocks for brains. It was a moment of weakness, I am leaving for a trip and will be gone tonight and getting back late tomorrow. I know you cannot buy/feed love, but Ella was a happy girl eating the cookie. I may have forgotten to mention as Kyle is lecturing me about contributing to Ella having diabetes, he is eating a cookie too!!!

Life Lesson: No cookies in the morning, hard to get anything good to follow it except another one. ( I did not give Ella another cookie, but Cheerios!)

I CANNOT believe you have only had ONE homemade chocolate chip cookie!! You are a much stronger person that I am! I personally think it is A-OK to have cookies for breakfast on occasion, not every day, but on occasion. :D
