Walking into Walls

My sweet little girl was getting ready for bed last night. She has a routine of gathering up her blanket, pacifier (which I need to misplace and hope for the best!!) and sippy-cup of milk each night and then will walk her self to her bedroom with both parents (if home) behind her to bed.

Well, last night Ella had her stuff and was approaching the hall way and walked right into the wall, it was so funny, like she was either blind (not funny to make fun on blind people walking into walls) or drunk (not funny either) and after kissing the wall with her head looks back at both parents near tears laughing at her.

We stomached the laughter to get her to bed.

Once in her room she wants to be picked up, and then gives big hugs and wet kisses, lots of love you mom and dad sayings and then we ask her if she is going to be a big girl? Her reply YEAH!!!
That is what I like to hear.

That is until 5:15 this morning I am awakened to the whispering of a two-year-old saying 'Mom' Mom. There is Ella less than six inches from my face wanting something but I am still in sleep and dream mode, not registering that it is really her next to by bed demanding dairy products at 5 in the morning. By the way, Kyle is snoring through all of this!

So I get her some milk and her response is to get in bed with us. Only to kick the covers back, which got me in a mood. I love covers year- around. Could sleep in sweats and long sleeve t-shirts. I like the feeling of a heavy comforter surrounding me. Anyway, I end up taking Little foot into her room where I try to sleep with her, she lets me have some covers in her bed, however not mine.

Anyway, at 6 when she demands the second cup of milk I fill'er up and tell Kyle that it is his turn to deal with Miss Demanding!

She was a bit moody when I left this morning. I did not work out and now wish I would have, less trouble and moving in and out of bed. Oh well. This is what we get for transferring Ella to a twin bed with a rail, she has the freedom to get out of bed, unlike the good ole crib.

I am actually shocked to hear Miss Ellas is demanding! Glad to hear it though- I was wondering if it was just my princess. :) We LOVE dairy too!! I can unfortunately report AG is now sleeping with us- for the time being- I gave out with the drama at bedtime. I was also so tired with the pregnancy, I would just take her to bed at 8 or 8:30 and we would both crash. Gotta stop this soon!

I know it, when Kyle is away both of us crash in bed together, it is the three of us that don't do so well. Kyle does not want her with us, but it is so much easier, and we have a king siZe bed for goodness sakes! NOW the pacifier is going to be a challenge, she takes it to bed with her and we are down to one, so when that one goes MIA I won't be getting a replacement.
I remember being pregnant and having little energy. I want to know your secrets when that time comes.
