What a day!

Well, at 3:30 yesterday, while at work, I got a call from Jena at daycare that Ella had a temp of 102.8 so I busted out of the office like a chicken with my head cut off. All I could think is to call the doctor to get her in ASAP. Since she has not been sleeping well and now the temp I knew it was more than teething, plus Kyle had just left to be gone until next week, (next Friday, i think) and I was going at this solo.
This is not the first time this has happened or will. Ella seems to always to get sick while Kyle is gone and I power through. I feel bad for Kyle too because I am sure the guilty from me sets in.
Anyway, I was able to get her in to the doctor, you could just tell from looking at her that she did not feel well. So the ran some test and she tested positive for strep throat, ouch! We are on some good meds and after a luke-warm bath had her temp down out of the 100's last night, she slept on her own for a while and ended in bed with me sometime later, but slept until 8 this morning, so I was thankful she got some much needed sleep.
So I am in workout closes thinking of getting on the treadmill, and am out of detergent to to laundry so my day is not going to be very productive, I am hoping tomorrow we can get out or it could be the longest weekend of my life. Will keep you posted.
Oh and I am thankful to Janet for bring my computer to me last night, or I would be tearing my eyes out, this at least keeps me connected and I can do some work once precious goes to sleep for her nap.
