It's late and I cannot sleep. It has been a day of long Interstate, rural roads and the life at a farm show.
The morning was a little harry with us scrambling to find a alternate situation for Ella, Kyle came to the rescue and I am so thankful, I owe him big time (maybe he is reading this himself).
I am at the largest outdoor farm show in the US and it is exciting, but I miss home and the little one, it was unsettling leaving today, or watching her head out with her Dad, but I took great comfort in knowing she was safe and would be cared for and watched over. It is not a easy job being a working Mom, it is hard work. So is being a stay at home mom or a single mom, the responsibility with the title Mom is a heavy one, that warms your heart each day and keeps you coming back for more, I would not have it any other way, just wish sometimes it was a bit easier, but who ever said life was easy.
The struggle to do it all is a hard road, sacrifices are made, and sometimes we pay, as parents pay the price. A good foundation helps, and the give and take of a marriage. I took today and my husband gave, I need to remember that next time. I don't give him enough credit or appreciate him enough. I am a pretty lucky lady, as is my daughter for a great dad to her and husband to her mom.
Enough mussy stuff, no crying before bed. Thanks Kyle.

Oh Hot Pants. I think you are such a great mom. Ella and Kyle are both very lucky to have you. I know it's hard sometimes, but just remember that you do a difficult job (being a working mom) VERY well!
