I will not cry

I realize I am way behind on posting and not sure where to begin, therefore, I am going to post about the most recent event about to take place.

Kyle and I depart this evening after Miss Ella goes to bed to the Twin Cities and will fly out tomorrow with a group to the Dominican Republic for a week! I am super excited and anxious for a week of warm weather, beach and sand, but it is a long time to be away. I have been reassured by family, friends and other Moms that Ella will be just fine and I feel God telling me the same but I will miss her and it isn't like the years she has been in Oklahoma of a week and i have been here, the challenges of getting home are a little tricky, but I have grandparents that have given me peace of mind they will be at our doorstep if needed at anytime. We are blessed to have a wonderful friend that loves Ella and is excited to be apart of her week.

For the most part Ella's routine will stay the course, her weekends will be filled with activities and I have bought some goodies for Ella to dip into from time to time. I spent 45 minutes in Target and bought a $100 worth of stuff that she will love, including Disney's "Oliver and Company." I remember going to see this movie in the theater many moons ago. I hope she likes it.

Today my time is filled with wrapping up events and activities at work, one appointment to make, get the last of phone numbers in order for daycare and our friend along with making a grocery list so Ella and I can shop after I pick her up. I still have several things to get backed and a over night bag, I am debating on just wearing my PJ's tonight and bringing carrying in my makeup bag and clothes for tomorrow instead of hauling in the big suitcase. Kyle has been out of town all week, but packed this past weekend, so he is almost ready. Need to get cash and make sure we have passports and any medications needed in a secure place.

It will be great to get away and I feel blessed for the opportunity, this summer will be a new milestone in our live with number two on it's way, so we feel this is a chance we could not turn down. I have a feeling the next big trip might very well involve Disney characters and Ella, but that is still a couple of years off. I am sure we will make small trips with two kids, but some day, DisneyWorld/Land will be calling our names.

For those I have talked to during the week with a nervous tone, thank you for the reassurance and prayers! They are felt and greatly appreciated. Look for photos next weekend!

In the event you check your blog from the beach, rest assured that KJ and E are JUST FINE.

I spent a little while at your house with them this afternoon (Sunday) and E was ALL SMILES and bouncing off the walls. The puppy chow I brought may have contributed. It's good for KJ to learn that she should not allow other people to pump kids full of sugar right before naptime.

Hope you and Kyle are having fun.
