Six Weeks of NO



SWEETS- That is right, for Lent I am giving up the candy, sugary morning breakfast treats, afternoon craving for chocolate urges. I figure it is not a bad thing to give up with being pregnant, but hey, I have some weaknesses, but will hold strong, hopefully it will help on the scale factor!!!!
Plus Easter will be filled with baskets of sweet treats.

I am hoping to discipline myself to lay low on the sweets, and since I am trying to not gain a million pounds this time, I figure sweets are a good thing to give up.

I will keep you updated. I did have a Dairy Queen blast last night and need to throw away Ella's birthday cake today to get the temptation as far away as possible.

I had Girl Scout cookies on Fat Tuesday myself! Almost through day 2 with no sweets though. I really think it will get easier as we go!
