Getting Organized

With all my free time, I have begun to....organize. No this is not nesting. I have lived in this house for two years and done some organizing, but never had time to commit to doing it the right way. Well, nothing like the present to motivate a soon to be mommy of two to get busy.
I went to Target and bought several Rubbermaid tubes to help the process along, tackled the spare bedroom closet and the multiple boxes that contained the following:

• Photos
• Framed photos
• Unfinished photo albums- wedding and honeymoon
• College stuff
• Letters from family while in college
• and a collection of letters Kyle and I had sent each other

So I divided them up and am going to complete the albums first, I mean I need to get the wedding photos in order for goodness sakes! It is going on six years, it is time to get these in order!!! Next will be honeymoon, followed by OSU awards and honors and then wrap up Ella's album and get Juniors ready!

I worked on some job searching tonight and plan to get busy with the wedding photos tomorrow night. Next on the list of things to do is going through Miss Ella's infant clothes and dividing them into a stay and go pile. Maybe Ella can help with this process, but something tells me little hands will be a challenge.

The best part of organizing these things is you see the finished product and it is rewarding, well to me it is. Plus I am preserving our history for future generations. The cards and letters and photos took me back to many years ago and made me reflect on how far we have come. This process is more enjoyable than I thought.
