I realized I have not been blogging as much as I did a month ago, and have lots of photos stored on my camera, so with Ella watching a movie as it rains outside, I am taking advantage of this time to catch you up and download my photos.
This photo is of Ella after a 7 hour play date about two weeks ago. No nap was taken that day. Once we got home, she took a bath and refused to lay down in bed, said "I don't want to go to bed!!!" So Kyle and I ignored this fit she was having and she went under the coffee table and within a minute (I swear) was out! We left her there for about 20 minutes til she was good and asleep and then moved her to her bed.
Part of our Easter gift was bubbles. On one of the warmer days we experienced last week, Ella and I took advantage of it and used the bubbles. Since then we have been going through a lot of bubbles!
A face only a mother could love, right? This was last week, one morning Ella decided it would be better to sit on the bar then be on the floor and ask for toast.
We have been exploring different craft projects- one of them is painting sun catchers. Ella loves to paint and it has been a fun project for both of us.
Ella loves to have her picture taken and take pictures. So last week before MOPS meeting, we took turns snapping some pics of each other. It was fun and as you can notice from her dress, the weather was beginning to warm up, FINALLY. I should not complain, I live in South Dakota where it gets maybe 95 twice during the summer. How I miss the southern weather this time of year.
Last weekend was the Annual Brandon Loyalty Days Parade. Our MOPS group organized a truck and a truckload of kiddos to participate and spread the good word about MOPS. Here are some snapshots of Ella and I.
Now that I stay home, keep a routine and set nap times have been interesting to say the least. We can go for days with taking a nap each afternoon and other days it is a fight and struggle, however when I do get Ella down for a nap, it is usually a good 2.5-3 hour time period. Here illustrates a good nap.
We love popcorn and ask for it almost every night after dinner. Ella likes to help too. She has learned to move the stool from the bar to the cabinet next to the microwave and with some help from either Mom or Dad will proceed to place the popcorn inside.
So now I should be caught up and can start blogging about some other interesting stuff. Enjoy.
