Freeman News

So the Freeman family has some new news!!! No we are not pregnant, for those of you that may have remembered me sending an email at the first of the year making the announcement about Luke.

I do have some exciting news to share!!!!

August and September have been challenging for us and exciting all wrapped up in one. Kyle has been promoted with Monsanto and we will be making a move to St. Louis, Missouri. So for those that remember are previous two moves with the company, we are putting the house on the market and house searching has begun.

As some of you may have remembered from three years ago, Ella was just a wee baby when we made a move, (close to the same age Luke is now), crazy how I seem to have babies and then up and move!

The family (all four of us) made a trip down to look at houses this past weekend. It was a long drive, which I got to spend the majority of my time in the middle backseat talking to Luke or feeding him and watching Disney movies with Ella.

We did not find a home, but have a feel for the area and an idea of what we want and don’t want in our next home. St. Louis is extremely family friendly and I look forward to taking the kids to the park downtown to the free zoo and much more. Downtown is very cool and I can see some fun dinners downtown with family and friends soon.

Our current home is on the market with a scheduled open house on Sunday (the staggers have come in and turned our kid wild house into what a home looks like before kids, we will see how long I can keep it up). I am cleaning up every night in fear of someone wanting to see the house with less than 15 minutes to get the place in order.

We are excited, nervous, anxious all wrapped up in one. When we move it yet to be determined, it is based on if we can get the house sold in the next 90 days, along with us finding a home in St. Louis area too. If not, who knows, we might be asking to spend a few days with one of you after Christmas!!!

It is a new chapter for us with this move. It is a great opportunity for Kyle and I feel confident I will find a great job as well. I will be taking some time to get us established first, and then begin the hunt, but I don’t think it will be hard to find jobs, there are many opportunities and I have been putting a few feelers out there too.

We are going to miss our friends in South Dakota and Minnesota, we have become close to many and saying goodbye is not something I look forward to. Our home has witnessed many first, Ella’s first steps, talking, first snow storms, bringing Luke home and welcoming many friends for great fellowship and fun.

I will keep you updated as much as possible, I haven’t had much time to blog or email, as we have been search and researching homes most evenings and getting the house in order for showings in the future.

We are excited to be a direct flight away from Dallas or Oklahoma City, so we will be able to travel home more often in the future too!

God has blessed us with many opportunities and we are thankful, even as we returned from our trip this past weekend a bit nervous on finding a home, but we have faith it will all work out.

This is the Freeman news. I apologize for not sharing sooner; it has been a whirlwind experience for us these days. Another note, Ella started preschool this month and Luke is rolling over! More milestones to share! So check the blog in the future, I will try and get more information up to share.

Thank you for your support! Many blessings to you and your families.

Nicola and family

At least you'll keep us updated on the blog, right?

RIGHT?!! :)

Okay, so you'll be busy for a little while, etc. I get it.

Still miss you.
