It is a exciting time- I keep telling myself that, it will all work out and be a great place of us to call home some day, I am just sad. I had to say goodbye to some really great ladies and friendships that I felt like were just beginning. I believe in my heart and soul that these friendships are just the beginning, though we may not share the same area code or zip codes and we may only see each other once or twice a year, we were destine to meet and to remain friends for life.
Sure it takes work, but so did staying close to my close friends from college- we have had to work at it, some of us talk more than others, but the best part is no matter how many times we may or may not see or talk to each other, we always pick right up from where we lasted ended and enjoy each others time together.
I have been blessed to find great friends in my life- from college (Ag Comm) to my job at OPC and OFB to moving to South Dakota and working and then being a stay at home mom- these ladies have taught me so much, they have made my life better and continue to enrich my life with their love and life lessons.
They make me a better person, daughter, friend, wife and mom to Ella and Luke- their names (and you know who you are) are engraved on my heart forever. And with that said, they are the ones helping me establish my new zip code and deal with the numerous boxes ahead of me and the fear of working or not working again, they listen and believe in me- this is the greatest gift they have given me this Christmas season.
