Our day started off with all four of us ending up in the king size bed, with lots of giggles and snuggling. We then proceeded downstairs to see what the Easter Bunny has left for Ella and Luke, and of course the bunny did not disappoint! The kids got some great stuff, complements of Mom and Dad, two sets of grandparents and aunts!
Kyle made breakfast while I took a quick shower and began to get cloths set out for everyone for church. Ella has her hair done and once I was done with my hair and makeup, I took over kid duty and got them dressed and bags ready for church.
We attended the early service at 9:15 and got there in time to places flowers on the cross outside of church and visist with a few friends. We dropped off Luke at the nursery and then attended a great Easter service. After church, we headed home and began the preparation for lunch. Kyle seasoned two pork loins and I worked on several sides and fed Luke and decorated the dining room table.
Kyle (aka the Easter Bunny) hid several dozen eggs and once our friends arrived, Ella and our friends headed outside for a great hunt! Ella and the other kids had a blast, Luke watched his sister with great interest and proceeded to try and eat grass!
We had a great meal and fellowship, Ella lead our prayer and talked out Jesus dying on the cross for us and how he rose up on the third day. Melt my heart- I love that girl and her interested in our Lord and Jesus.
The remainder of the afternoon was focused on the kids playing and enjoying the great weather with our friends. We cleaned up the kitchen after our guest left and the kids took a long bath to wash off the grass and outdoor play!
I am just now realizing that Ella did not eat dinner, or us (Kyle and I) for that matter. Luke had dinner after our guest left, but I didn't feed her. She did have some Easter candy. Hope that holds her over for the night.
Sweet Home Alabama is one right now, going to sign off for the night. Happy Easter to all.
Blessings.

I am glad that you had a great time, but you were missed greatly at Meme and Pa's house!!!
