All of these ideas

Last night while humming to some tunes on my iPod while walking I came up with some crazy ideas. I have been wanting to get in contact with some past classmates, co-workers and friends. I came up with some interesting ideas, I may not pursue any of them, but I might. Funny, how listening to a few inspirational songs can take me to some places and thoughts that have been collecting dust in my memory for many years.

I will probably scale down these grand plans, but I am now going to ask you as my readers this: Would you contact classmates, friends, teachers, from the past? Would you tell them the impact they made on your life now, thank them, tell them hello and that they crossed your mind?

There are some of those out there I lost contact with and maybe feel the need to reach out again, say thank you for leading me down the road I have traveled, that they made the road a fun one.

I try, again try, to keep in contact with several friends from college, past jobs and and places we have lived, I make a effort with some more than others, and feel guilty for those I have not been as well connected with. No matter where they are or how often we do talk I pray for their happiness. I feel blessed to call them my friends. I get a little teary-eyed thinking of them and all of our great times together. Oh the stories we can tell

So, let me know your thoughts.

I've tried to contact some of the people I hung out with from High school and ost of them never have responded to me. It has almost been like they have started their new lives and don't want much to do with their past. There were two people that I invited to my wedding shower, wedding, and baby shower and neither one of the even respond with a congrats. I was really let down that they didn't even care anymore. (On one of the invites to both of them I even put no gifts...I would just like to see you and they still never responded.)

I must say...do what your heart tells you. If it says contact them, then do so. There may be a reason for you to do so.

Best of luck to you. I hope it goes better for you than it did for me. :)

Thanks Kari- We will see, it is a matter of me to put my thoughts into actions, I am thinking of just one of two that keep coming to mind. Who knows, but at least I tried.Who knows! I really liked your post today!

It is amazing how a 3 minute song can take you back to places, people and things you haven't thought about in years.

I grew up in a very small town. My 20 year class reunion is in a few months, and I have been in contact with almost all of my 22 classmates.

I think it's sort of fun to contact (and get contacted) out of the blue by someone you haven't communicated with in years. I say go for it!
