Flowers and Quotes for the Walls

I have been hit with the spring bug. That is the spring planting bug. I have been eager to get my planting pots filled with pretty plants and add some color to the front yard and porch. So while Kyle was out planting trials in Minnesota, Ella and I headed to the neighborhood nursery. And let me tell you, this is no small nursery off the side of the road, it is a maze of roses, bushes, tress, annuals, perennials, yard accessories, fountains and just about anything you may or may not need for your yard.
Click here to see the nursery Ella and I will be visiting and spending.
We have a online spending report, and I fear this category (housewares) is going to be in the lead before long, I love flowers and changing things up.
I also purchased some herbs, that are in a sunny spot outside of Ella's window, so it is a good reminder to take care of them each day.
Ella was a big help with her shovel and rake, and added her thoughts of where I should place the flowers. It was fun and I cannot tell you how nice it was to be outside for a change.
In addition to the flowers, I have also purchased several UpperCase Living items for the house (if Kyle reads this I will have a lot of explaining to do!). I only bought two items, figure I will get them on the wall, (if you don't know what UpperCase Living is, it is expressions that adhere to the walls and add some flare to a room!!!) The expressions will be delivered in two weeks and I convinced the rep (she is in my Mom's group and I took one of her classes on Uppercase Living this winter) that she has to help me put them up. I will post photos once they arrive and the process.
And I will have some photos of the porch and all it's glory soon!

Hey...After you put your stuff up will you come help me? I bought some stuff last fall and they are still sitting in my living room. I am too scared to try to mess with it. Maybe when you are down here we can mess with it. One of the ones that I order is a two layer one that goes on a tile. There were so many more things that I like and that I will want after we get the addition built. (maybe I will tell you a few so you will have a couple of ideas for Christmas.) Yeah...with having this baby in November I am already starting to think about Christmas gifts and what to get people. Crazy huh?

Kudos on the planting. I though about it but decided that being a bum was way more important. Not to mention that I didn't want to spend the gas to drive back into the city this weekend. I think that Ava and I will hit Lowe's on our way home one evening.
