So I realized I had not written a single thing in a week and had to drop all my important work and craft the happenings of the past week.
Following Tuesday it is hard to remember what we did...give me a second and it will come back to me. Ok I remember.
Wednesday we went to a friend's house for supper, the kids had McDonalds and played til their hearts were content. I got to chat with my friend and feel like a adult, her husband was out of town too, so we could really relate well to each other!
Thursday- MOPS set up which proved to be great fun for Ella! She loved playing with all the toys we had to set up in the kids rooms. We went to the grocery store since I had breakfast duties at the meeting on Friday. Two different egg bakes. Ella attempted to help- she crumbed a couple of slices of bread and lost interest. I kept her up a little later, just in time for her Daddy to come home. She ran around the house and announced several times with excite that her Dad was home! It was fun to watch her.
Friday- MOPS meeting, went well and we made a cool craft that may become some people's stocking stuffers!!! We rented some movies and had family night and watched "Kung Fu Panda" as a family on the floor in front of the tube with popcorn.
Saturday-I had a moms/friends get together at the local coffee shop which proved to be loads of fun and laughter!!! Following this I headed home, we loaded up and ran errands- Best Buy for some expensive cord we ended up not needing!!, Kyle needed a haircut (All this time Ella slept so I got to hang out in the front seat and check mail on the trusty BlackBerry. We later went to the grocery store for the Thanksgiving meal. People are right, it is expensive, but we got a free liter of Dr. Pepper for our turkey selection.
Sunday-Sunday school for Ella and I, Kyle stayed home not feeling well. We made lunch and vowed to Ella if she took a nap she could watch her Dora movie. So her and Kyle layed down and I went to the mall for a power hour of shopping! Later that night we met up for Dinner Club- Love it and all in it, what fun it was and with a dozen kids running around the house, made it even better. I look forward to January. We are hosting February!! Yeah.
Monday- Back to work. We had the cable installed with HD on the big TV, so that was exciting. I got a new hair due, took longer than expected, but I like it! No more grays! Take that!
Tuesday- And I have come full circle. We have dinner plans with friends tonight and i might think about prepping some dishes for Thursday! Looking forward to Turkey Day and the big football game on Saturday. Go Pokes.
And we will be putting up Christmas decor starting Friday- YEAH.
