March 2- A day in history for me

Was laid off Monday, didn't even make it down the hallway to my office. Sucked
Packed my office up of two years in less than hour- Sad
Didn't get to tell anyone I worked with goodbye- Cried
Went home and was asked by the cleaning lady what I was doing home- insert failure.
Talked to close friends and family- uplifted
Hubby took me to lunch and bought me a new pair of prego jean- felt better for a while
Listened to the baby's heartbeat- First time that day my heart raced for a good reason.
Sat at home and worried what was to come- sick feeling
Had to tell our wonderful daycare we were leaving- cried like a baby
Head cold progressively got worse, slept terrible and woke up with the bad feelings again.
But two days later, I have gotten a lot done. Ella is enrolled in preschool for the fall, thinking of taking a fun trip to see friends in the weeks to come, filed for unemployment, talked to my previous boss and other managers-felt better and got my work samples for my portfolio. I am in search for a computer too, want a Mac, might have to do a desktop if I get one or look at more reasonable PCs. Hard decision.
See something are looking up. Still sad to leave some really great people I worked with each day.

God has a bigger and better plan. Wait for it to unfold and hang on for the ride! He will not fail you. I gotta tell ya...the stay at home mom's club is thrilled you will be joining us :)
Love you, girl!

Take it from someone who was fired from an advertising job too...It totally gets better. There is something bigger and better out there for you and God will lead you to it when he is ready to. So for now...enjoy the time off, enjoy the one-on-one time with Ella and do some things for you. (I, personally, can't wait to see you soon!)

Oh and if you hold off to get the mac until you get here...we can get you that discount that I told you about. ;)
