This lovely Monday morning I hit the local grocery store in Sioux Falls with a mission in mind. Purchase only what is on my list and see how much I could save with the coupons I clipped Sunday afternoon.
The result: I saved approximately $6 on products that I needed or would need in the future- of course many of the items I purchased were multiples, but it makes sense to purchase two canisters of crescent rolls instead of one, doesn't it?
Not bad for my first attempt to buy only off a designated list and with the majority of products having coupons with them.
The goal is to shop more responsible and find better deals. We are lucky to have a freezer full of protein, so it is up to me to fill the remains of the kitchen with healthy fruits, veggies and side items for meals.
If I am going to do this stay at home gig, I need to find some time and cost saving tactics. So cheers to me on my first attempt.
